| The Emerging Technologies and Healthcare Innovations Congress (TETHIC) is the Health Care industry’s leading conference featuring technologies and innovative solutions for a consumer–centric health system. The Consumer Directed Health Care Conference is the leading healthcare conference bringing together all stakeholder sectors including Providers, Payers, Employers, Policy Makers and Technology Solutions Providers. |
| In December 2005, top healthcare leaders from the private and public sectors discussed and debated today’s tough issues. Speakers and panelists included over 150 leaders from technology companies, health providers, think tanks and leading universities. However, of the target audience, only a fraction of the total potential number of attendees could make the conference, because of schedule limitations and conflicts. Yet, the TETHIC wanted to extend the benefit of the CDHCC conference to more than just the people who could attend.

| The conference organizers contracted ScribeStudio to produce the “on-demand” version of the event. ScribeStudio produced and edited the video and audio of the conference, built a password–protected, easy to use web site for the event, and hosts the entire conference online at http://cdhcc.scribestudio.com. |
| With the CDHCC event online, the scope of knowledge sharing from the event has vastly improved. Not only can participants in the event access the site to review session they attended, they also can review sessions that were concurrent to the ones they were in at the event. This goes far beyond the CD–ROM of slides typical of many conferences. With the CDHCC online component of the conference, there is now a year–round component to the event, with the ability to continue the conference online throughout the year. |
